Sally Fretwell owns an international consultancy service and teaches interior design and architectural psychology throughout the United States. Sally has a degree in Psychology and an extensive background in Chinese philosophy. She has wide experience helping businesses, healthcare institutions, and individual clients establish supportive and attractive environments in their homes, offices and retail establishments.

For 25 years, Sally has traveled widely consulting and teaching accredited continuing education courses on interior design and Feng Shui to realtors, designers and architects. She offers a fresh, commonsense perspective blending principles from architecture, psychology, and Feng Shui.

Sally is the author of Make the Ordinary Extraordinary!, a resource guide that is filled with creative ways to build and remodel homes, retail establishments, businesses, and office environments, as well as Feng Shui: Back to Balance, a practical and sensible approach to the ancient science of architectural philosophy. In both books, Sally shares inspiring real-life stories that shed light on how to create beautiful home and work spaces.

Sally’s work has also been published in Contemporary Earth Design, a collection of writings by design experts from around the world. Sally has been featured in Niche, Gulfshore Life, Mary Kate, and Ashley Magazine. Her articles have appeared in numerous other magazines and publications including Living in Balance Magazine, and Qi Journal. She writes a monthly column for The Echo Magazine in Charlottesville, Virginia.
